Education Alliance for Life Chances publishes new 'Case for Support'

EALC's Case for Support explains why we are here, what we want to change and how we will achieve it

Here at the Education Alliance for Life Chances, the past few months have been busy ones. We have begun work on our first delivery plan.

Firstly, we have established and stepped up the pace of work around our place based program Act Locally across the three different priority areas. We have also expanded  our Partnership Board to include all large multiple academy trusts, Bradford Schools in Partnership and Keighley Schools Together. This will give us reach across the entire Bradford education system. We have also set up two 'enabler groups': the Head Teacher Reference Group and the School Absence Task and Finish Group. Both of these groups create a space for schools, academics and operational partners to connect over particular issue.

We have also spent a significant amount of time focused on developing and cementing our EALC Case for Support. We believe this document makes clear the unique offer that EALC provides: we are in the best position to help the district on a full system level, to champion the voice of schools, and to push forward on the ground, place-based work.
