Early Years Workforce Plan Survey
We want your help to create a great plan that will help to shape the Early Years Workforce in West Yorkshire. Whether you are a childminder, setting leader, practitioner, nursery owner, apprentice, headteacher or teacher working with young children, your opinion matters.
Initiatives, training and support

St Edmund's Nursery School is the first Early Years Stronger Practice Hub for Yorkshire and The Humber, designated by the Department for Education.
Join our hub to access fully funded and evidence-based improvement programmes for your setting, and be signposted to support, advice and knowledge sharing networks.
Our apprenticeship courses are delivered by experts working in the education sector – making our teaching and the apprentices’ learning current, relevant and real. Opportunities exist for apprenticeships in early years settings, nursery, primary and secondary schools, and working with children with complex learning needs in special schools.
Based in outstanding practice
Bradford Birth to 19 Institute for the Early Years is proud to be based at the nationally influential St Edmund’s Nursery School and Children’s Centre (NSCC).
St Edmund’s NSCC is an Outstanding setting, leading the way in Early Years practice and pedagogy in Yorkshire for decades.
