Visitor Sessions
Our Visitor Sessions provide an opportunity for you to spend time at another setting where you will:
- Meet with other early years educators, share ideas and be inspired by the environment and one another
- Take a tour and find out more about the ways others work and how they use resources and spaces inside and outside
- Ask questions and engage in professional discussions to develop your practice
Choose from a range of settings (Special School / Childminder / PVI / Nursery School / Academy School Foundation Stage) and a range of days and times - we hope we have provided something to suit everyone.
To minimise disruption to children and staff there are limited spaces available. Don't miss out - book today!
Upcoming sessions
Dixons Allerton Academy are opening their doors to share their practice. As well as having the opportunity to explore their environment, they will focus their discussions around the process of project learning with the Reggio approach. Hear more about the projects they have undertaken this year and speak to their staff.
We’d love to welcome you to Dixons Allerton Academy for a visit focused on project learning through the Reggio approach.
Together, we’ll explore some of the projects we’ve been working on this year, with time to chat with our team about how these ideas developed and what supported them along the way.
You’ll also have the chance to look around our setting and see how we use space and materials to spark curiosity and support meaningful learning.
Co-op Academy Delius is a Primary Special School offering provision to children from the age of 2 years with a range of special educational needs including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autism.
During this visitor session, there will be a 30 minute brief overview of Delius' curriculum and assessment.
We will discuss the communication strategies, behaviour strategies and areas of provision that work well in our setting. We will additionally try and cater some of the session if there is a particular focus you want, and opportunities for questions.
This will follow with a tour of our EYFS classes and the rest of the school provision.
Visit Grass roots Nursery in Calderdale to discover how they work, to share best practice, and to network with other Early Years educators!
At Grass Roots Day Nursery, we’re proud of the calm, connected feel you get the moment you walk through the door.
It’s a home-from-home setting where children thrive and staff feel genuinely supported - our practice is rooted in relational care that nurtures wellbeing and confidence across the team.
We’re big believers in emotionally intelligent practice and making sure our staff feel confident, valued, and equipped. As past winners of a team development award, we’re passionate about creating a workplace where professional growth goes hand-in-hand with joy and connection.
As the PVI partner for the St Edmunds Stronger Practice Hub, we’d love to welcome you in and show you how we do things - what’s working well, what we’re learning, and how everyday acts of care create a setting that feels good to be in, every single day.
