Emotion Coaching

 

We are really excited to announce we have 30 fully funded places on the Emotion Coaching. We are aiming for a November start. If you are interested  please complete our expression of interest. We will then be in touch to talk through the offer, eligibility. You will also be invited to an online session with the opportunity to ask the Emotion Coaching team. 

This is open to anyone delivering the EYFS in West or South Yorkshire. 

Emotion Coaching supports children and young people to better understand and manage their emotions, building resilience, well-being, and stronger relationships. Find out more here

15 places for the core module and 15 places for the trainer. 

The core course consists of  2 days online training covering: 

  • Outline of neuroscience behind self regulation. 

  • Outline of the Emotion Coaching framework

  • Practical exercises and skill development for supporting self-regulation.

  • Early Years case studies to illustrate use in practice. 

  • Relevant links to the EYFS.

Followed by 2 90-minute Follow-On Workshops

  • Designed to revisit and deepen Emotion Coaching in practice

  • Share experiences, challenges, and build community

  • Additional co-regulation strategies provided

For those wishing to do the train the trainer 

After completing the training and 2 follow on workshops, you can receive accredited practitioner trainer status by attending a pre-application webinar to assist with their application and deepen their understanding of Emotion Coaching. Once completed you will gain access to exclusive EC training resources. Participants will also receive a Practitioner Trainee Support Pack to support their application. The process for all of this takes about 6 months.
