Short Description

Working fully within our Marketing and Communications Team, you will support the design and delivery of strategic marketing and communications campaigns. 

 

Your digital design focus will cover all our work streams and marketing channels, including digital, print design and less frequently video, animation and other creative media. 

 

You will also provide administration and event management support.

Annual Salary

This role is graded at SCP 7-11  is £26,403-£28,142pa, depending on experience.

This is a full time role. 

 

Main Duties & Objectives 

As part of the team which leads on marketing and communications across our full range of work, your main duties will include: 

  • To support and contribute to the provision of the brand design for Birth to 19 and its workstreams, designing resources (based on the content provided), supporting resources and a range of materials for delivery in a range of settings.

  • To assist the team in maintaining the project plan 

  • Work alongside the Marketing Officers by contributing to the design of social media and print materials, in relation to multimedia projects, internet content, audio visual technologies, corporate presentations and publications.

  • Creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for websites, apps, and other digital products as well as content for external partners.

  • Managing and updating content on websites and digital platforms.

  • Working closely with developers, marketers, and other partners to ensure design solutions meet business and user needs.

  • Creating and maintaining design guidelines, style guides, and other documentation to ensure consistency and quality in design work.

  • Ability to film and create video animations

Person Specification 

This post is suitable for a new or recently-qualified graduate, or for someone with experience within the creative sector. We are committed to providing professional development to help you bring creative ideas to life!

The successful candidate will bring excellent creative skills in digital content and design. They will have skills and knowledge of how to connect meaningfully through engaging and imaginative content with a range of audiences. We are looking for someone who can communicate complex ideas in ways that are relatable, using playfulness to promote our organisation and initiatives.

Qualifications 

Ideally a graduate, with 2:1 or higher or equivalent professional learning and experience

Satisfactory Enhanced DBS clearance.
