MEANINGFUL LEARNING THROUGH CONNECTION, COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION
A 2-part professional development programme supporting inclusive practice through SchemaPlay.
Accreditet. Fully Funded.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Early Years practitioners working with:
- Babies and toddlers (0–3yrs)
- Children with additional educational needs aged 2–5yrs (SEND).
- All provider types welcome (PVI, schools, childminders) Priority will be given to settings from areas of higher deprivation.
Practitioners will be accredited with Bronze & Silver SchemaPlay Awards
For larger settings, two practitioners will need to attend, one for each accreditation pathway (0-2yrs practitioners and an SEND cohort)
WHAT IS SCHEMAPLAY?
SchemaPlay is an evidence-informed, inclusive approach that helps practitioners:
- Tune into children ’ s repeated patterns of play (schemas)
- Strengthen communication, self-regulation & executive function
- Build meaningful relationships and inclusive environments
- Develop inclusive approaches to supporting all children ' s learning Identify how they can support other practitioners.
