About the Role

Birth to 19 is seeking a Social & Content Creator to support the Early Years Stronger Practice Hub programme.

Working as part of the Marketing & Communications team, you will lead on day-to-day communications, digital engagement and the development of creative content to strengthen the visibility and impact of the programme.

The role will focus on increasing audience engagement, expanding reach and delivering effective campaigns through social media, email marketing, websites and a range of digital and print communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media content strategies to promote the Early Years Stronger Practice Hub programme.
  • Create engaging content across a range of digital and social media channels.
  • Design and produce high-quality graphics and promotional materials.
  • Produce and edit short-form video content for campaigns and online engagement.
  • Support conferences, webinars, workshops and events through the creation of visual assets and resources.
  • Plan and deliver targeted email marketing campaigns.
  • Upload and maintain content across websites and digital platforms.
  • Monitor performance across digital channels and provide insights to improve engagement and impact.
  • Support the delivery of campaigns and provide occasional on-the-day event support.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in a digital marketing role (2-4 years).
  • Experience managing social media professionally.
  • Experience using CMS platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Strong copywriting, editing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
  • Proactive and positive approach to problem solving.
  • A passion for improving outcomes for children and families, particularly those facing disadvantage.

Desirable Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in professional marketing or digital marketing.
  • SEO knowledge.
  • Experience supporting video and photography content.
  • Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience using a range of design and communication tools, such as Google Workspace, Canva, HubSpot and ConcreteCMS.
  • Understanding of the core principles of successful social media campaigns and website development.
