SYSTEM LEADERSHIP DEPLOYMENT
Which system leaders do we deploy and what do they do?
School to School support, which may be commissioned by individual schools, the DfE, Academy Trusts, the Bradford Primary Improvement Partnership (BPIP) or a Local Authority, is a significant and fundamental part of our work as a Teaching School.
We can offer our system leaders to support a variety of school improvement needs.
National Leaders of Education (NLEs) are outstanding headteachers or principals who, together with the staff in their schools, use their skills and experience to support schools in challenging circumstances. In addition to leading their own schools, NLEs work to increase the leadership capacity of other schools to help raise standards.

Local Leaders of Education
Local Leaders of Education (LLEs) help improve pupil outcomes through partnership working between schools and academies. Local Leaders of Education are successful headteachers who work alongside other heads to drive forward improvements and build capacity to ensure that improvements can be sustained.
Specialist Leaders of Education
Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs) offer support to individuals and teams in similar roles in other schools. They are experienced middle and senior leaders who have demonstrated outstanding practice and have the skills to support others in similar contexts.
Leader of Excellent Practice (LEP)
LEPs are highly skilled non-teaching staff who work with others to develop expertise.
