23 years teaching in mainstream schools and schools resourced for pupils with Hearing Impairment. This also included time as an advisory peripatetic teacher, an advisor and trainer for Bradford Calderdale Kirklees Deafblind Consortium and SENSE.

I also taught autistic pupils in a 3 – 19 special school as a teaching deputy head.

I have been involved in opening two brand new schools from scratch including writing curriculums, policies and procedures and opening one refurbished school

I have been a headteacher for 7 years.
