Are you interested in becoming a teacher and looking to get some valuable experience in a school or early years setting? We can support you to do this through our partnership with Bradford area schools.

Whether you are looking for a rewarding gap year, university placement or hands on work experience to inform future career choices, If you would like to take part in the School Experience Programme, read on.

Bradford Birth to 19 has a partnership with over 40 schools in Bradford and our school centred initial teacher training courses are an immersive way of becoming a qualified Early Years, Primary or Secondary teacher. You can get further details on ITT courses here or apply now for September 2019 entry.

The entry requirements for these courses include to have at least two weeks experience in a school or early years setting for the fee funded route and 3 years experience for the school funded route. We recognise that it is not always easy to gain this level of experience and this is where the school experience programme comes in.
